The Mondial Online Girmitiyalogy University (MOGU) stands at a formative stage of its development, where long-term ambitions must be carefully balanced with short-term feasibility. To bridge this gap, MOGU adopts an intermediary strategy of approach: a transitional framework that connects present limitations with the institution’s envisioned structural outcomes. In the absence of permanent structural funding, MOGU relies on pre-financing by its founders, temporary subsidies, and partnerships with established universities. This pragmatic approach enables gradual progress toward financial independence and international accreditation. Likewise, while the academic curriculum is not yet embedded within national or international accreditation frameworks, MOGU tests its innovation through pilot programs such as the Executive PhD and Minor Studies. These initiatives build legitimacy and prepare the ground for fully accredited BA, MA, and PhD programs in Girmitiyalogy.

Intermediary strategies also extend to visibility and staffing. By organizing hybrid conferences, inviting visiting professors, and publishing collaborative research, MOGU enhances its academic profile and fosters a growing scholarly network.
