I had the honour of meeting Dr. Shardanand Harinandan Singh and discussing the rich heritage of Mithila. Along with this, I gained greater awareness of the struggles and legacy of the Girmitiyas. I am grateful for the immense opportunity to be associated with the Girmitiyalogy Forum.
