I am delighted to be associated with the launch of the Girmitiyalogy website and wish you great success in the future. The Girmitiyas made tremendous sacrifices, enduring insurmountable hardships and humiliations, yet they carried with them their dharam, sanskriti, sabhyata, and bhasha, and preserved them with pride.
